PREVAILING IN THE HEAVENLIES 2
(week 52/13)

In our article last week, we saw that we are to use prayer from our positions of authority seated with Christ in the 3rd heavens to prevail over Satan and his angels in the 2nd heavens to cause the power of God to be made manifest in the 1st heavens and so come into physical manifestation:
1. Salvation: the new birth (Jn. 3:6), healing (1 Pet. 2:24), deliverance (Lk. 10:19; Mk. 16:17) and prosperity (2 Cor. 8:9, 3 Jn. 2).
2. Strength (Eph. 3:16).
3. The Kingdom of God: righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Rom.14:17);
4. The power of Christ: the power of the Holy Spirit without measure (Jn. 3:34).
When we do this, we instead of Satan, influence the wills, minds, bodies and circumstances of men; this is what causes a revival when in whole communities or cities a majority of the people get born-again and righteousness prevails in the community, like in the revivals of Charles Finney. We see this in the ministry of Paul at Ephesus:
Acts 19:17-20 NKJV: This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. (18) And many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds. (19) Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them, and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver. (20) So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.
We pray with all kinds of prayer in the Spirit (Eph. 6:18) with groanings (Rom. 8:26) or travail (Gal. 4:19) or strong crying (Heb. 5:7).
Praying with words in the understanding can be likened to power released by the engine of a car.
Praying in tongues can be likened to the power released by engine of an airplane (propeller or jet).
Praying with groanings, travail or strong crying can be likened to the power released by a rocket!
It is the use of ALL these different kinds of prayer, both in the understanding (1 Cor. 14.15) and in the Spirit in sequential order that releases the power of God from our spirits in our physical bodies on the earth and sky-rockets this power of God to reach our thrones of authority in the 3rd heavens from where they descend into the 2nd heavens and bring answers through the ministry of angels into the air of the 1st heavens and finally into physical manifestation.
This is how we prevail in the heavens!
