PERSONALLY FULFILLING THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES 2
(week 35/16)
OLUBI JOHNSON
In our article last week, we saw that we are NOW in the season of the fulfillment of the feast of Tabernacles in the Church, because the years 2014-2015 were the years of the blood moon tetrad that synchronized with the Jewish feasts of Passover and Tabernacles. Furthermore, 2015 was a 7thShemitah year of release (Deuteronomy 15.1), so from the day of Trumpets (Leviticus 23.24) of 2015 (September 14, 2015), we entered into a Jubilee year.
The feast of Tabernacles typifies the experience of the perfection (development to maturity), of divine love and the consequent manifestation of the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ in the Church firstly individually (Luke 6.40, John 14.12, 1John. 2.5) and then corporately (Ephesians 4.13).
Now the feast of Tabernacles has three parts to it:
- Blowing of Trumpets
- Day of Atonement
- Feast of Tabernacles
The blowing of trumpets is symbolic of the prophetic voice in the Church (Isaiah 58.1, Revelation 1.10): you will experience ‘trumpets’ INDIVIDUALLY as you pray in tongues as daily habit and by this receive PERSONAL REVELATION of the perfection and fulness of Christ:
1Corinthians 14:2 KJV: For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
1Corinthians 2:7 NKJV: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
The Day of Atonement typifies the removal and cleansing of the sin nature from our souls and bodies by washing of the water of the Word, through the power of the Holy Spirit released through fasting and prayer (Ephesians 5.26, 2 Corinthians 7.1, Hebrews 10.22).
2Corinthians 7:1 NKJV: Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from ALL filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
We PERSONALLY experience this inner cleansing of the sin-nature as we see our sin-rate drop drastically and we experience a new degree of inner purity in our souls: wills, minds and emotions typified by the ‘white stone’ in Rev.2.17:
Revelation 2:17 NKJV: “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” ‘
The ‘hidden manna’ speaks of personal revelation of the perfection and fulness of Christ; the ‘white stone’ speaks the experience of inner purity.
This is why the Day of Atonement includes afflicting our souls which speaks of fasting:
Leviticus 23:26-27 NKJV: And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: (27) “Also the tenth day of this seventh month shall be the Day of Atonement. It shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall afflict your souls
Psalms 69:10 KJV: When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.
The feast of Tabernacles typifies the manifestation of the glory and power of God after the fruit of the spirit has been perfected: developed to maturity.
It is instructive to observe that you cannot experience Pentecost without first experiencing Passover and you cannot experience Tabernacles without first experiencing Pentecost.
Furthermore, you cannot experience Day of Atonement without hearing and obeying the prophetic voice and the teaching of trumpets; and you cannot experience the glory and power of Tabernacles without the experience of the inner cleansing and purification of the Day of Atonement.
Now the Church has experienced Passover and Pentecost but we are yet to experience Tabernacles in its fullness: we have experienced Trumpets and Day of Atonement in limited degree.
We are now in the year and the season of the fulfilment of the fullness of Tabernacles because the years 2014-2015 were the years of the blood moon tetrad that synchronized with the Jewish feasts of Passover and Tabernacles. Furthermore, 2015 was a 7thShemitah year of release (Dt.15.1), so from the day of Trumpets (Lev.23.24) of 2015 (Sept.14 2015), we entered into a Jubilee year.
So the fulfilment of the fullness of Tabernacles is imminent: hence this message.
So each of us INDIVIDUALLY NOW should start experiencing trumpets and Day of Atonement by using the blood, the Word and the Spirit to GRADUALLY perfect the love of God to experience the feast of Tabernacles: the manifestation of the Spirit without measure, FIRSTLY as a borrowed anointing and then later secondly as a personally inherited anointing.
