REIGNING AS KINGS IN LIFE
(week 27/16)

Romans 5:17 AMP: For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
Here, the scripture tells us that we are to reign as kings in this life using the life of God.
God wants us to grow spiritually to become and so reign as spiritual kings in this lifetime using the life of God in Christ Jesus.
It is instructive to note that the life of God (Zoe in Greek) is converted to power (Dunamis in Greek), when we pray and speak God’s Word.
It is this power that is released from our hearts through our mouths that enables us to reign as kings in this life: causing ALL things to become subject to the will of God for our lives; so that in ALL things God by this power works for our good.
Ecclesiastes 8:4 For the word of a king is authority and power, and who can say to him, what are you doing?
Philippians 3:21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.
Romans 8:26-28 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. (27) And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. (28) And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
God wants us to reign in this manner as spiritual kings to bless the nations and so fulfill God’s promise to Abraham that ALL the nations in the earth will be blessed through his Seed: the Lord Jesus and His church.
Genesis 22:17-18 KJV: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; (18) And in thy seed shall ALL THE NATIONS of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
Galatians 3:29 KJV: And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
In particular, these blessings are the dispelling of the PRESENT gross moral and spiritual darkness (Is. 60.1-3) blinding the nations of the earth and then discipling them by feeding them with the wisdom of God’s Word as typified in
Isaiah 25:6-7 KJV: And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined. (7) And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over ALL NATIONS.
Isaiah 2:2-3 KJV: And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and ALL NATIONS shall flow unto it. (3) And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Now, HOW do we do this?
This is done by releasing the life of God from the Lord Jesus Christ THROUGH our spirits and then converting that life to power through speaking God’s Word (Mk.11.23, 2 Cor.4.13) and prayer in the Spirit (Eph.6.18, Rom.8.26) by the power of the Holy Spirit (Act.1.8).
By this we INJECT the power of God into our souls, bodies and the air so neutralizing Satan’s power in the souls and bodies of men and in the air:
Ephesians 2:2-3 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, (3) among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
So, we effectively displace and so replace him as the prince of the power of the air, not universally but WITHIN OUR SPHERE OF INFLUENCE and so reign as princes and kings in life!
Romans 8:6 Having one’s mind controlled by the old nature is death, but having one’s mind controlled by the Spirit is life and shalom.
Romans 8:11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

This power is released into our souls: wills, minds and emotions; our bodies and into the air so causing the Kingdom (dominion) of God to be ENFORCED and His will to be done IN and THROUGH us, so causing us to reign as spiritual Kings in this life time by the life of God!
