BAPTISM OF FIRE AND GLORY_THE GLORY WILL CHANGE KINGS AND NATIONS
(mr 04/05/18)
OLUBI & SARAH JOHNSON
One of the main purposes of the manifest glory will be to bring in the harvest of the nations.
Isaiah 60:3 KJV: And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
We will use this glory to discipline kings and leaders of the earth. As the glory of God comes to the Church and we are baptized with the fire, and we will go from continent to continent, from nation to nation, and we will encounter different kinds of rulers like Cyrus, who will say, “Pray for us” (Daniel 4:37; Ezra 6:1-10); or Nebuchadnezzar, who initially will be a resistant, but with time, will change. Leaders like Belshazzar will be removed overnight (Daniel 5:30-31).
Psalm 110:2 KJV: The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
Psalm 110:5-6 KJV: The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill [the places] with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
This glory will bring a conducive spiritual and political climate for the preaching of the gospel to all nations. There are nations now under the yoke of the enemy where Christians cannot preach or practice the gospel. The earnest anointing of Pentecost cannot break that yoke; it is only the spirit without measure that can break such a yoke and remove the heads over some present day nations, to open up these nations so allowing the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom in every nation for a witness (Ps.24: 7-10; Matt.24: 14).
Primarily, that glory is going to be used to create the enabling spiritual atmosphere that will change the political configuration of many nations so that the gospel can be preached therein and transform some nations to what is described in
Psalm 144:11-15 KJV: Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand [is] a right hand of falsehood: (12) That our sons [may be] as plants grown up in their youth; [that] our daughters [may be] as corner stones, polished [after] the similitude of a palace: (13) [That] our garners [may be] full, affording all manner of store: [that] our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets: (14) [That] our oxen [may be] strong to labour; [that there be] no breaking in, nor going out; that [there be] no complaining in our streets. (15) Happy [is that] people, that is in such a case: [yea], happy [is that] people, whose God [is] the LORD.
The major problem of many nations on earth is bad leadership, not the absence of resources. Nigeria is a classical example. In the fifties, Chief Obafemi Awolowo said there is more than enough resources in Nigeria to provide free quality education to every Nigerian, from the primary to the university level and he proved it when he was the Premier of the then Western Region Government in just four years (1955-1959)! Chief Awolowo wrote a book called ‘The Travails of Democracy and the Rule of Law’. This book ought to be made compulsory reading for every politician in Nigeria! He said in the book that whilst he did not claim the monopoly of wisdom, the difference between other people like himself and the others is, while they are carousing in the night, going from party to party, other people like him are burning the midnight oil thinking through on the problems of the nation. That was the reason why the then Western region Government got television before South Africa! Many European countries too did not have television when the Western Region had WNTV established with cocoa money! Many of our present day Nigerian academicians and Professors benefited from Chief Awolowo’s Free Education Program!
God will raise another visionary leadership in this end time by the glory of God. With the glory of God, we will remove the ‘Belshazzars’ and will impose the ‘Cyruses’ and ‘Awolowos’ who will reproduce the kind of nation Nigeria was before and make it even greater.
Only the baptism of fire, or the manifestation of the glory will change Nigeria and this world for the good! There is so much anguish and tension in the world, but with the glory that comes with the baptism of fire, we will break kings and put the right leaderships in the governments of the nations of the world, and so the gospel of the Kingdom will be preached and demonstrated God in all the earth TO END THIS AGE.
Matthew 24:14 KJV: And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
How do we get the baptism of fire? The answer is that we must seek it, as it says in the scripture in:
Malachi 3:1 KJV: Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
Whilst the baptism of the Holy Spirit given to us immediately WHEN we ask for it like in Acts 10.44-46 and 19.6; the baptism of fire is not given immediately. Rather it is by consistently asking , seeking (by praying in tongues and travail) and knocking (by walking in love), over a significant amount of time at the end of which God, being satisfied with the degree of our humility and compassion will then SUDDENLY AND INSTANTLY give us the baptism of fire of the Spirit without measure.
Matthew 7:7 KJV: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Luke 11:13 KJV: If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
We must not cast away our hope and confidence that we will be baptized with fire.
Hebrews 10:35-37 KJV: Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. (36) For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. (37) For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
