Filling Noah’s Ark

Matthew 24:37-39 (NKJV): But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
Here, the Lord Jesus tells us that His coming back to the church will be like the coming of the flood of Noah.
The flood of Noah brought judgement upon the disobedient, to enable God to use Noah, his family and the living things that were with Noah in the Ark to repopulate the earth.
In a similar way, God is shortly going to release a flood of judgment upon His church that will cause two-thirds of the church to be cut-off and die spiritually and cause one-third of church to be refined in a spiritual Noah’s ark to form a glorious church not having spot, blemish or wrinkle or any such thing (Eph. 5.27), that will grow into the perfection and fullness of Christ (Eph. 4.11-16), doing the works Jesus did and greater (John 14.12), manifesting the glory of God (Isaiah 40.5, 60. 1-5) for the discipleship of every tongue, tribe and kindred (Matthew 24.14, 28.19,20), before Jesus returns physically for the millennial reign.
Zechariah 13:7-9 (NKJV): “Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, against the Man who is My Companion,” says the LORD of hosts. “Strike the Shepherd, And the sheep will be scattered; Then I will turn My hand against the little ones. 8 And it shall come to pass in all the land,” Says the LORD, “That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, But one- third shall be left in it: 9 I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; and each one will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’ ”
It is instructive to note that those who are cut-off do not all go to hell. In fact many of them will rise again after they have fallen like the prodigal son (Luke 2.33-35, 15.18) and come back into the reformed church, now under a perfect ‘David’ leadership (Jeremiah 30.9). However, they will suffer loss of some or, in some extreme cases, all of their eternal spiritual inheritance.
1 Corinthians 3:10-15 (NKJV): For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
However, a few may go to hell. So it is wise to enter the ark, by making the decision and starting the practice of perfecting the love of God in your heart NOW.
In our article next we will see what the ark represents spiritually and how it is being filled.
