Perfection Revealed in the Tabernacle of Moses 4
(week 45/06)
Olubi Johnson
We continue our study of perfection in Christ revealed in the Tabernacle of Moses.
This week we will start examining Most Holy place operation.
The Most Holy Place
In the Most Holy Place, the tables of stone represents the experience of the Christian who has passed through all the other stages and who has the word of God engraved or engrafted permanently into his mind just as the law was written by in the tablets of stone by the finger of God on Mount Sinai (Exodus 31:18).
2Corinthians 3:3 KJV: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
Hebrews 8:10 KJV: For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts….
This is a Christian who has attained dominion perfection: He always ultimately does all of the will of God revealed to him though he may fall or falter along the way:
Proverbs 24:16 KJV: For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
Psalms 37:23-24 KJV: The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. By ordering his steps in the Word, the Lord causes this man to have dominion over all iniquity and so fulfill all of His will:
Psalms 119:133 KJV: Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Acts 13:22 KJV: And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
This is one reason why the New Testament perfect church that will be raised up in this third day is referred to as the Tabernacle of David:
Amos 9:11 KJV: In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:
Hosea 6:2 KJV: After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
The hidden manna represents the experience of the Christian who has completely cleansed out the sin nature from the mind, but not yet completely from the emotions and flesh.
Revelation 2:17 KJV: He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Such a Christian has a mind totally illuminated by the life of God so that his understanding is no longer darkened by alienation of the life of God this is also what the Bible describes as the day star arising in your heart:
Ephesians 4:18 KJV: Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
2Peter 1:19 KJV: We have also a more sure word of prophecy whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
This means that the Christian will have the mind of Christ, and naturally think like God thinks in any situation.
1Corinthians 2:16 KJV: For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
Next week, we will continue to examine Most Holy Place operation looking at the ‘hidden manna’ and ‘Aaron’s rod that budded’.
