Governmental Anointings

Isaiah 22:20-25 NKJV: ‘Then it shall be in that day, That I will call My servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah; 21 I will clothe him with your robe And strengthen him with your belt; I will commit your responsibility into his hand. He shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem And to the house of Judah. 22 The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder; So he shall open, and no one shall shut; And he shall shut, and no one shall open. 23 I will fasten him as a peg in a secure place, And he will become a glorious throne to his father’s house. 24’They will hang on him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the posterity, all vessels of small quantity, from the cups to all the pitchers. 25 In that day,’ says the LORD of hosts, ‘the peg that is fastened in the secure place will be removed and be cut down and fall, and the burden that was on it will be cut off; for the LORD has spoken.'”
The scripture above speaks prophetically of God calling Eliakim: a type of new spiritual leadership, to rule in the Church, typified by Jerusalem and Judah.
The name Eliakim means “God is setting up” speaking of God setting up
(1 Cor. 12.28) a prophetic and apostolic leadership that will rule with the key of David: divine revelation of prayer and spiritual authority that Christ (the root and offspring of David Rev. 22.16, 3.7) operated with so that “when they shut no man can open, and when they open no man can shut.”
In verse 25 God speaks of removing and cutting down (Matt. 7.19, 20) the present leadership that is like Saul and not like David (Act. 13. 21, 22): “the peg that is fastened in the secure place”. They seem to be secure in their deceptive power and prosperity (Matt. 7.22, 2 Th. 2. 9, 10).
This new leadership that is about to be made manifest with supernatural, spectacular love, wisdom and power will rule with a “cocktail of governmental anointings”:
A Daniel anointing for political control of the nations (Dan. 4.17; 6.28).
A Joseph anointing for economic control of the nations (Ps. 105. 17-22).
And an Elisha anointing for spiritual and social control of the nations (2 Kings 2. 15, 19-22).
These three major anointings when mixed and operating together form the anointing of the fulness of Christ (Jn. 3.34; 14.12).
Their operation through overcomers will fulfill in this dispensation the scriptures that say we will rule the nations with a rod of iron (Rev. 2.27) and so taste of the powers of the age to come (Heb. 6.5) or the millennial reign.
These anointings will affect both the church and the geo-political nations in which the church is living to break the nations and create a conducive atmosphere in which the gospel of the Kingdom can be preached unto all nations for a witness before the end comes in the rapture of the church (Matt. 24.14).
These anointings are essential to preserve the church from being rendered ineffective by the combination of the persecution of the religious and political systems, as has been done throughout the history of church.
In the past, the religious system, typified by mystery Babylon, has always teamed up with the political system, typified by kings in the book of revelation, to persecute the church to make it spiritually ineffective by pressurizing the church to make the word of God ineffective by tradition and compromise.
Revelation 17:1-6 NKJV: Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.” 3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. 5 And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. NKJV
Mark 7:13 NIV: Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down.
Examples of this are:
1. In the early church when the Roman Emperors started professing nominal Christianity, making Christianity a state religion, creating the Roman Catholic church which indulged in many unscriptural practices, like penances, praying to saints etc; So robbing the church of it’s spiritual power causing it just to have ‘ a form of godliness but denying the power thereof’ (1 Tim. 3.5).
2. In the protestant revival the English Kings broke away from the Roman Catholic Church ostensibly to serve God better. However some of them just used it as an excuse to divorce their wives and marry others to satisfy their lusts, which the Catholic Church would not allow.
3. The relatively modern Methodist church of the Wesley brothers, the Baptist church, the Pentecostal and Charismatic churches have all been weakened and in some cases rendered totally spiritually ineffective by unscriptural traditions imposed on them through the combination of ungodly political and religious influences.
So, in this 3rd. day the present move of God in the church that is about to explode into the manifestation of the sons of God that will operate in the fulness of the Spirit doing the works Jesus did and greater, will be preserved by these governmental anointings of Daniel, Joseph and Elisha, that will effectively ‘checkmate’ the religious and political spiritual forces that would want destroy the church as they have done in the past.
