BAPTISM OF FIRE AND GLORY 3_FIRE RESTORES THE GLORY ADAM LOST
(mr 03/05/18)

The spirit without measure is the fire!
Zechariah 2:5 KJV: For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.
The Lord reveals that he will be to the Church (“be unto her…”) “a wall of fire round about“, and “the glory in the midst of her”.
This is the baptism of fire! A simultaneous immersion into and infilling of the fire of the glory of God!
In the Old Testament, whenever there was a manifestation of the glory of God, it would be with fire!
When Moses went to the mountain to receive the Ten Commandments, he was in the Presence of God for forty days. However, what the children of Israel saw was the mountain that burned with fire and they were afraid and refused to go into the Presence of God, not believing that the fire would not consume them!
The baptism of fire is having the glory of God within and around you. However, it does not mean that others will see fire on you all the time!
When John baptized the Lord Jesus, the scripture said, the Spirit of God came on Him like a dove. It didn’t say ‘fire’ but it was the Presence of God, which came upon Him and filled Him and He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness for forty days and forty nights, before returning in the power of the Spirit. Performing the miracles in Cana of Galilee, there was apparently no fire; but fire was present because the scripture says that ‘He manifested forth His glory and His disciples believed on Him’ (John 2:11). He began to manifest the Spirit without measure. It is that Spirit without measure we are going to be baptized with and it is called the baptism of fire!
Malachi 3:1 KJV: Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
We got the first ‘suddenly’ on the day of Pentecost; the second ‘suddenly’ is now imminent! The first outpouring STARTED the ‘last days’, the former rain quoted by Peter in Acts 2; but we are about to experience a second outpouring ENDING the last days, which will enable us to do the miracles the Lord Jesus did and greater! This baptism of the fire of the spirit without measure will fill us and enfold us, so we will be just like the Lord Jesus.
Malachi 3:2 KJV: But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he [is] like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:
This fire will not always be physically manifest like in the day of Pentecost. Occasionally, God may show the fire, but we don’t go looking for it! The fire has a work to do. It will burn out whatever is left of the sin nature in the soul and in the body as a refining fire. It will set our hearts on fire and keep our hearts on fire so we will not grow cold again!
The Lord is going to return the fire of the glory of God that was lost to man in the Garden of Eden. The scripture says:
Romans 3:23 KJV: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Through Jesus Christ, the last Adam, the glory we lost in the Garden of Eden through the first Adam will be restored.
In Eden, Adam and Eve had no clothes; they were naked, but clothed with glory. Their body parts were covered by the glory of God from top to bottom! God would come down in the cool of the day, and Adam and God would walk together and talk: Fire walking with fire! This continued until Adam and Eve fell. The day they ate the fruit of tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the fire clothing them went out and suddenly, they saw that they were naked. Thank God for the Lord Jesus; He has come to restore that fire to His Church! That is why when you come into Christ, you are called to obtain the glory. God will restore glory to us in the same way He restored it to Jesus as the glory of Only-Begotten of the Father at that time. As the world sees us, they will behold our glory as the glory of the begotten sons of God! The same miracles the Lord Jesus did, we will do and greater (John 14:12). That is how the glory will be restored to us.
Occasionally, we may go to the mountain and be transfigured before people, and they will see the glory like it was on the Lord upon the Mount of Transfiguration with Peter, James and John. The fire was always there; God just allowed them to see the glory briefly at that time, and then afterwards put off its physical manifestation.
The baptism of fire will restore the glory that Adam lost in the Garden of Eden. It will give us the Spirit without measure that will enable us to do the miracles that the Lord Jesus did and greater, and also keep our hearts burning with fire for God on the inside, and it will even affect our physical bodies, burning away all filthiness of the flesh, as the life of God is made manifest in our mortal bodies:
2 Corinthians 4:10-11 KJV: Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. (11) For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
Isaiah 4:3-5 KJV: And it shall come to pass, [that he that is] left in Zion, and [he that] remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, [even] every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem: (4) When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning. (5) And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory [shall be] a defence.
