Hold Your Ground
A Prophecy given by Pastor Olubi Johnson on 29th October, 2009
The Word of the Lord has come to me saying, There are those who have said in their hearts: but Lord, I already have You in my heart; I have already asked You to come in. But thus saith the Lord unto you, There are areas of your heart that I have not entered. There are parts and depths of your feelings, of your will, and of your mind and emotions, you have never allowed Me to get to. And this is what I want tonight, saith the Spirit.
I want you to welcome Me into those deeper areas that hitherto you have never allowed Me to come into: the areas of your will, your mind, your emotions. I want total possession; all your heart, all your mind, all your will, all your strength. I don’t just want part possession as I have had, hitherto, saith the Lord.
The word of the Lord comes to me further saying, I am taking you, saith the Spirit, to possess new ground. For tonight, I have catapulted you to capture new territory in your mind, new territory in your will, new territory in your emotions. Hold the land. hold this new land you have gained; this new territory you have possessed. Do not allow the enemy to push you back from it. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Hold your ground. Quit you like men! And be strong.
Hold this new ground. Hold it by the Blood; hold it by the Word; hold it by the Spirit. For when the enemy shall come, as he shall surely come, against this new territory, like a flood, the Spirit will raise a standard against him and push him back.
Hold your ground, saith the Lord.
