Prospering As Your Soul Prospers
(week 27/06)

3 John 2 NKJV: Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
Here, the scripture tells us that God wants us to prosper and be in health even as our soul prospers.
Tremendous material and financial prosperity is the will of God for His people; God wants us to be rich:
2 Corinthians 8:9 NKJV: For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
2 Corinthians 9:8 NKJV: And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
In fact, it is the prophetic destiny of the church to be the most powerful financial institution in the earth in this end-time having enough resources to lend to nations:
Deuteronomy 28:7-13 NKJV: The LORD will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you. 9 The LORD will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways. 10 Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they shall be afraid of you. 11 And the LORD will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the LORD swore to your fathers to give you. 12 The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.
However, right now even though, we have experienced a significant degree of prosperity in the church relative to what we had in the past, it is clear the church has not yet experienced the degree of prosperity God desires: to be rich, having all sufficiency in all things to abound to every good work, lending to nations causing all the nations of the earth to be afraid of us.
Why has this not happened yet?
It has not happened because we have not prospered in our soul to the degree that it can happen.
It is the degree to which we prosper in our soul that we can correspondingly prosper financially and physically.
What is the prosperity of the soul?
The soul is made up of the mind, the will and the emotions.
Your mind is prosperous when it has been renewed with the Word of God by revelation knowledge so that you think like God thinks, having the mind of Christ.
Your will is prosperous when it has become totally submitted to the will of God, through the practice of humility: submitting to the will of God when you don’t feel like it,
Your emotions are prosperous when they have been tempered by the fruit of spirit (Gal. 5.22), by practicing the love of God as a daily habit using the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, so you react emotionally like Jesus would.
So it is only by perfecting the love of God in our lives that we can cause our souls to prosper to the degree that we will enjoy a prosperity greater than Solomon’s in this end-time and fulfill the fullness of our prophetic destiny manifesting the glory of God!
Isaiah 60:1-5 NIV: Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. 2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. 3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. 4 “Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the arm. 5 Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come.
In our article next week, we will see how to use the prosperity of the soul to proper tremendously in this end-time.
