SHAKING THE HEAVENS
(week 21/14)

Luke 21:25-28 NKJV: “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; (26) men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for THE POWERS OF THE HEAVENS WILL BE SHAKEN. (27) Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. (28) Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.“
Here, we see a present truth prophetic revelation of what is PRESENTLY happening in the earth and in particular in Nigeria (May 2014).
There are signs in the sun, moon and stars: we are presently in the four blood moon tetrad that includes a total eclipse of the sun, synchronizing with Jewish feasts of Passover and Tabernacles, the Jewish 7th year of release (Deut. 15.1) and the Jewish New Year: the feast of Trumpets (Lev.23.24-25).
The four-blood moon tetrad started on the Jewish feast of Passover on April 15, 2014, this will be followed by feast of Trumpets on September 25, 2014 and then another blood moon on the Feast of Tabernacles on October 8, 2014. A total Solar Eclipse on March 20, 2015, another blood moon on the feast of Passover on April 4, 2015, the feast of Trumpets on 13th September, 2015 and finally the last blood moon on the feast of Tabernacles on 28th September 2015.
As this is happening, the earth is experiencing distress of nations with perplexity from attacks of terrorism: in particular, Nigeria is being attacked by the terrorist group Boko Haram which kidnapped over 250 school girls EXACTLY when the tetrad started on April 15th 2014.
Other nations like Kenya, China and Somalia are also experiencing terrorist attacks, while civil war is ravaging Syria and threatening Ukraine and Thailand: truly the nations of the earth are distressed and men’s hearts are failing them from fear of these things and their possible imminent escalation.
Furthermore, global warming is causing a ‘roaring’ of the seas and waves resulting in flooding in several places.
This ‘roaring’ of the seas and waves, also in the manifold wisdom of God, refers to outcry of peoples all over the world, like the current world wide protests against the Boko Haram kidnapping of the Chibok school girls in Nigeria. This is because waters in the Bible is symbolic of multitudes of peoples:
Revelation 17:15 NKJV: Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.
Now as all this is happening, the Holy Spirit tells us through this scripture that the NEXT two things that are also going to take place SEQUENTIALLY are:
1. The shaking of the heavens.
2. The Lord Jesus coming in a cloud and with great glory.
What do these things mean?
The shaking of the heavens speaks of a spiritual bombardment of the second heavens (2 Cor. 12.2) where Satan and his cohorts (Eph. 6.12) have been operating, to dislodge them from their positions of dominion over the air (Eph.2.2): in particular, in Nigeria and then sequentially (Ac. 1.8) over other nations, as the church in these nations also begin to ‘shake’ Satan and his cohorts by intense spiritual warfare through consistent, effectual, fervent prayer in the Spirit with all kinds of prayer and travail using the whole armour of God.
